Arrive at the airport and transfer directly to Dambulla, where a late afternoon visit to the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple introduces you to two thousand years of Buddhist artistry across five ancient cave sanctuaries. Check in to your heritage resort and enjoy an optional sunset photography session across the timeless plains of the Cultural Triangle.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress

A morning climb of the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock Fortress reveals the ambition of King Kashyapa’s fifth-century palace in the sky – exploring the famous frescoes, elaborate water gardens and panoramic summit views – before an optional traditional village tour offers an immersive encounter with rural life in the ancient heartland.

Polonnaruwa Medieval Capital
